Jeffrey Kobulnick has joined Ezra Brutzkus Gubner LLP as Partner. Jeff counsels clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including the selection, clearance, prosecution and registration of trademarks and service marks around the world. He also handles Internet-related intellectual property issues, such as domain name acquisitions and dispute resolution, and the protection and enforcement of copyrights and trademarks on the Internet. In addition, Jeff has experience in litigating claims for trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, false advertising and related claims under both federal and state laws, and proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Prior to joining Ezra Brutzkus Gubner LLP, Jeff spent more than eight years as an intellectual property and litigation attorney with national law firms, most recently Foley & Lardner LLP. Jeff is also well known for his commitments to pro bono and community involvement. He is a coordinator for Bet Tzedek Legal Services’ Holocaust Survivors Justice Network and in 2009 was awarded Bet Tzedek’s Elyse S. Kline Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Award. EBG employees, who are well-accustomed to flexing their legal muscles for their clients, rolled up their sleeves and spent the day painting and building at a Habitat for Humanity site in the San Fernando Valley community of Pacoima.
