In commercial real estate matters, Jamie Garelick has significant experience representing property owners, tenants, investors and lenders. Her background includes counseling clients in the acquisition, disposition, construction, development, leasing and financing of commercial and retail properties.

Ms.Garelick’s business law experience covers negotiating, reviewing and drafting various business contracts including shareholders’ agreements, license agreements, employment agreements, asset purchase agreements, limited liability company agreements, partnership agreements and joint venture agreements.

Prior to joining E|B|G, Ms. Garelick worked at major law firms including the New York and Los Angeles offices of Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman LLP (formerly Rosenman & Colin LLP).

A graduate of Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, Ms. Garelick earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, in political economy from Princeton University. Prior to attending law school, Jamie was a political consultant and a public policy advisor to the County Executive of Rockland County, New York. She has also served as an intern for the former Governor of New York, Mario Cuomo, and for a member of British Parliament, Dr. Gordon Brown, currently Chancellor of the Exchequer in Prime Minister Tony Blair’s government.

MS. Garelick is on the board of the Jewish Federation Young Leadership Division and an active member of AIPAC.
